Ok I know I'm probably stirring up a hornets nest here but which is better suited to use on a 914? I've got a sandblasted and primed shell and before I paint it I want to rust proof as much as possible. Thoughts opinions???
Thanks!

sandblasted and primed? no need for POR-15 then ...
leave it off, the paint-shop will thank you.

If you did the sandblast routine? why dont you go the whole 9 yards and dip, then galvinize your tub?
If it was blasted and primed? was it primed with zinc rich primer ala zinc phosphate or zinc chromate?

Skinned Knuckles, a car restoration magazine, did a comparison of most of the major rust-proofing products a few years back.
POR-15 rated just above Corroless... but not by much.

Ahh there in lays the twist, I did not blast and prime it I bought it that way. So now I get the task of building it and making something out of it. I am of course going to add the stiffening kit, since I'm in there....
Thanks!
