I need one for the finishing touches on the Mighty Spyder rotating mass... Everything is lightened and it kills me to think I may have to settle for that heavy assed 901 assembly thats stock.

It will be getting rebuilt and beefed up to a stage 3 to hold the power, so even if its in rough shape I'll still take it and put it to good use..

Anyone know where I can find one?

How much should this weigh? It feels heavy.

Nope- thats not the S or atleast it doesn't look like it...

I bet that one weighs 9 pounds..
carr914
Yeah, it's like a dumbbell. But it matchs the one I had to buy to use the 1969 911S clutch package I had to use in order to use my 906 factory flywheel. Good luck with your latest. By the way, there is some of my drool over at Pauls house after seeing his new motor. I wish I had known about you years ago.

I weighed up a PP and 3 discs.
PP 901.116.001.01 6 lb 14 oz
CD 901.116.017.01 2 lb 9 oz each
I believe the disc is thinner than a regular disc.

Jake is correct, a stock PP weighs in at 9 lbs.

Dave your right the disc is thinner than a regular.

I run this set up on my vintage car (sorry no spares)
and once made the mistake of not using the correct disc.

the correct disc is thinner.
