Can anyone point me in the right direction for some base settings for my zeniths?
Which screw does what...idle, mixture, idle correction etc..also there is a screw that affects vaccum any settings for this?

I have found some base settings on Pelican...
these are for PMOs though..

Initial adjustments (PMO) are as follows:
Idle air correction: 1/8 turn out*
idle screws: ½ turn in after touching throttle arm on each carb
idle mixture screws: 2 turns out


What i need to know is which screw is which...
(guessing) the small screw which I've marked as idle balances the airflow at idle
the larger screw (with knurled head and spring) adjusts the amount of fuel at idle.

Someone must have done this before... smile.gif

resurecting this thread. Does anybody have a exploded diagram for the zenith carbs? I have spent about an hour looking for one. Thanks!

Yes I know Gary (fellow Brit) -I managed to get hold of a copy of the Zenith manual and after a bit of fannying -they're running at least as well as any other carb would
