Billsteins with 5 notches.... 5" coleman collars......

????

most said 10" on This thread....

but a few use 8"

will they work? can the 5" perch sit high enough on the Bilstein to have useful adjustment?

I got 8"s right now and it works. It'll get you about 4" clearance on the bumpstops on 22" tires. Go about an inch from the bottom of the collar and you'll be about right at the bump stops.

These are on koni sports though.

i think bilsteins' adjustment notches are lower than on a koni....

im asking if, the threaded perch (5") will sit HIGH enuff, on a bilstein shock, to facilitate an 8" spring?

have the seating notch about .5" from the bottom....

so, if these were to sit on the top notch of the bilstein strut.... they would be ok with an 8" spring?

WAG they will work......

If it's at all useful(yeah I know they're not bilsteins). Here's some pics of it as low as it will go while just touching the bumpstops. The collars are about 6.5" from the bottom of the shock mounts.
