Anyone want to get together for dinner one night?

As the crow flies I'm only about 30miles away, but there's this great big lake to go around.

If the ferry is still running from Rochester, perhaps it could be redirected to points east of Toronto.

I don't think it runs in the winter and the last I heard it was in big money trouble.

There was a ferry running out of Colbourg for over 75 years but they scrapped it in the early 50's.
Wish they still had it.

there's a great little Mexican Resturant on Clifton hill in Niagara Falls Ont that's about half way in between Mark Henry and Rochester. (The place with the glass garage doors) I just canna remember the name. We could car pool for a get together.
If you need parts, Mark's the man!
But I'll bet two Toonies he won't show...

It is 4:15 am EST. I just got into the hotel, the Hyatt downtown. Dinner on Wed or Thu night would be good. Let me know when and where to meet. I just need directions.



BTW... Airline traffic through O'hare sucks. I was stuck in the plane on the runway at DFW for 2 and a half hours before we took off due to delays at O'hare. Then I was stuck at O'hare for anothe hour and a half waiting for the connecting flight to show up!!

Ask Luke if he has a preference (he might know the place better) but I've been to the Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse a couple times and really enjoyed it. Here's the address.

The wife is just starting her shifts on Wednesday and I have the kids. To top it off I have to take Ethan (our 4yr/old) to pre-op on Thursday. The next couple of weeks are a bit hairy for the Henry family.

When I went to school in Rochester in the early 80's, there was a really cool indoor junkyard that was full of sports cars. I have no idea if it still exists, but it was near some kind of railyard since there were tracks running through it. I don't even remember how we found it.

Go to the Dinosaur BBQ in Rochester, the food is the best. Oh, and bring a shovel and your mittens!!

On my way to Syracuse some day I'll have to come check on the conversion.
My job is not cooperating with my schedule.

Rochester is a bit too far for me and Thursday is my only free evening.

wish I would have checked sooner I live in the Rochester area also

I went over to Luke's place and got to see his conversion in progress.


He and I talked about the fact that everyone didn't get enough notice. So, I will be in town for the next 2 weeks after this one (other than weekends) so we can plan a dinner at the dinosuar for next week sometime.

Y'all pick a day. I can be there any day but Friday. I go home every Friday evening and come back on Sunday evening.
