It was great seeing you guys. Thanks Joe for the hospitalty. I had a great time, I made it home in two hours, the drive in took two and a half. They really need to do something about the 91 and the 405 (seven lanes one way) is not enough.

Had a great time, nice to put some faces to the names, Toast and Carol, nice to see and meet you, all the guys, Hey.
I want to thank everyone for putting up with my puppy Kya, she is a handful as you all saw. Anyway, we take off on our way home, she drops and curls up, didn't even wake up when I stopped for gas, Got home, she's out again. Just wore her out,
Drive home was great, just one small pocket of slow stuff, it was still doing 50, not complaining. I used the trip for a milage test, worked out to 23.4 mpg, pretty good since I was cruising at 80-85 most of the way, just listening to the 6 purr at 3800, love that sound.

What a great BBQ!!!! BIG THANKS to Joe!!! This is the second BBQ I've been to at his place, and both times everything has been superb.
It was great to see Alberto's car move under its own power. His Triad exhaust looks like it might work well for my Subaru setup.

One more time,
Good.. make that GREAT time.
It was so kewl to watch Lagunero drive his car down the street. For the first time.
His engine feels strong. Has a Jake cam and a few other goodies.
Now all he has left is a MAJOR alignment job, new skins and carb/timing dial in.
Slits was as always in fine form. The guy just knows way too much.. period...
It was good to see the gang. Be my typically rude and perspirational self and hang wid da bros.
And to you Joe... I just can't can't say enough. It never ceases to amaze me on how you take care of us so well.. Simply bad ass. PERIOD. I am grateful... thanks.
I wish those of you that can't be at these gigs could see and feel what happens.
These gatherings are amazing. It's just so............... Right.
I am forever amazed at all you Fu*king jerks.
Regards to all,
Twystd1

Sorry I got there to late to see everyone.
I have a good excuse. Pick one . . . .
1.) It is a 300 mile drive from my house.
2.) I planned to skip out early, but I had to work late.
3.) See attached photo.
I had a great time at the Pomona Swap Meet in the morning.

Hey All. THANK YOU JOE!!!!! That was a great idea spawned from a brilliant mind...It was so nice to meet with everybody

. Thanks for the help with the car. My Brother and I took the 74 over to Perris Valley today to get in a couple of skydives, Great place they have there. What a sweet ride through the pass there and back. Shocks provided by Thomas and alignment Mon. a.m. Then it's off to Phonix. Car is running great, and my butt fits the seat so well I may be able to return that tube of Prep H when I get back to FL!!
Thanks again to all you SoCal guys for all the encouragement and advice/help. What a GREAT bunch!!!
When in FL be sure to let me know. Great pics of my car..thanks, it keeps me from having to figure out how to do it myself. I'll be posting updates of my trip on the original Monterey CA to Tampa Bay FL Roadtrip thread for those of you taking bets on my actual arrival date.
Later, Bob
p.s. Thanks again Joe
