Stolen from the bird board (thanks, Tom). Good stuff, but OT question. How does Google get their videos to load and play so much faster than others?

My guess is that Google has either uploaded the video to a Google-owned server closer to you or that they use a content delivery network such as Akamai.

Huh. I always just did a video search with Yahoo, and typed in "914". There are too many 911 videos out there..
