Someone here posted about them earlier today, and I have been intrigued by the idea.

I always figured that the speedo on the 914 was probably so far off that there was no reason to trust it. Plus, I understand it was set for a tiresize that is hard to come by. So, a GPS powered Speedo makes a lot of sence.

I have been using GPS for a long time now (well, A long time for me anyhow - 8 years). It would seem to me that your Speedo would stop working, or give false readings when driving under thick foliage, under bridges or tunnels, that kind of thing. Also, it can take a couple of minutes for the GPS to locate all the satellites, so when starting the car up, would you not have a speedo for a while?

Has anyone used this technology yet? Id like to know more about it.
