...anything to do with the ' GGG GGG ' plates? screwy.gif
eitnurg
No clues there, just my neater-than-usual attempt at blotting out the plates. (Why do we do that anyway, you can see any number you like just driving down the road?)

Its a Austin Healey 4000 with Rolls Royce engine

Whole story here http://www.ewilkins.com/wilko/ah4000.htm

Thank you Google !!!
eitnurg
Absolutely correct! Though I think that Google makes things a bit too easy sometimes.

Another picture, which I deliberately didn't use, as it starts to give the game away...........

Incidentally, having seen this car in the flesh, it's not just a 3000 sliced down the middle with 6" added in.....it's a tad wider everywhere, a genuine example of the coachbuilders' art.

I open a new thread !!! Vol #4
Gustl
wow - really cool car - never heared about it
the wider body makes it look better than the 3000

although, the article tells us that there were only 6 prototypes built dry.gif
