How large can you take a 2.0L 911 engine case? I have seen 2.2L P/C for the 2.0L but can it go to say 2.7L or larger?

I think with the right $ you could go 2.8 with it.

I recall that there was some non-trivial modification that needed to be made (cylinder spigots maybe? bolt pattern maybe?) to go much larger than 2.2 liters, though a somewhat unconventional 2.5-ish was doable as well.
I can't find my Anderson book right now, but I'd bet it's covered in there.

It depends which case. The early aluminum case will go to 2.7-2.8 and live. The early mag case....won't live long....IMO.
Bring $$$ in either case...if you'll pardon the pun.

Bang for the buck is the name of the game . The best way to reach around 2.7 is with stroke. So crank,Rods, and new heads. Not to mention $2500.00 worth of piston & cylinder kit. I say sell the 2.0 and start looking for a 2.7. That is if you need the power and GOD knows you do.
