This is a 73' with aside from a quarter sized rust spot at the passenger side behind the seat at the firewall. When I got it, all I was told is that it is a very clean chassis.

914-6 rear brakes/complete
Renegade radiator/installed/complete
Renegade Subaru engine cradle/installed/complete

Basically new everything.

The wheels and interior are looking pretty ratty, but it does not matter too much as it will be completely replaced anyway...

I LOVE the color your car will end up. Should look amazing w/ the wheels.

I can not believe painters

I have had my car in paint/body for over 9 months!!!!!



I just had the vehicle towed out of the body shop and brought to a local dealer's body shop. What the hell is wrong with these painters? I got every excuse in the book; he came to my shop for work, I gave him a Hummer body to paint, and a Jeep body to paint. I also gave him my 914 to paint...

I am done.

The car is down at Gaudin Porsche getting the final paint. One hellofa lot more expensive, but they will do a fantastic job. Will this ever end?

Now that the old crackhead painter has been fired, I need to get my garage ready for my car...

The Porsche body shop called yesterday and the car is done I know, I know I don't believe it either!

I am supposed to have a trailer arranged to pick it up by Friday. I will definately take a bunch of pics and post them for all. The shop manager said it turned out very nice...

I went to the body shop yesterday after work. I do not believe how nice the car turned out! I am fairly picky, but I think the finish is very nice. The guys at the shop were hanging around my car snapping photos. I walked up to the car and acted like I did not know what kind of car it was. One of the paint guys started talking to me and basically told me all about my car. Too funny!

Dana came over last night and this is what we did...

Thanks Dana, you are a true friend. I could not of done this without Dana.

Rear end almost complete. Only need to hook up tail lights, and install the center reflector.

The pedrini's that are on the car are for sale. They have no rash, and just need a little TLC. I have Kinesis wheels, so I am willing to sell these for a fair price (prolly make you a great deal to pay my dues to the non-members of this club).
