The car is a street car with an occasional AX. 19mm Master cylinder, ATE 320i front calipers, stock 914/4 rear. I have rubber brake hoses.

I'll check everything but the plan is not to open the lines just pump the new stuff through. I can't remember what is currently in there but it was new just prior to WCC 04.

ATE blue is the best.

Hardly

ATe is a good brake fluid.. nothing really special about it other than the color.

Another "good" brake fluid is the Valvoline SynPower brake fluid, it has specs close to Ate blue/gold and is cheaper.

Among the "best" brake fluids is Castro SRF $65/qt we use it in the racecars. Unless your really stressing your brakes Id go with the Valvoline

I like my Motul.

Motul is a good fluid, BUT if your using the Motul fluid I suspect.. you cant think about using another fluid to top up, and Motul recommends a complete flush of the old fluid before adding Motul..

Also if you maintain your brakes properly, you can ignore the wet boiling point

Trekkor
I bleed my brakes before every event. So the fluid is always fresh Motul mueba.gif
