refering to my '73 1.7L FI:

Finally got my car on the road....idols okay, probably a little low. Driving around locally for now, taking it safe.

Last night after about 10 minutes (5 or 6 miles), the engine started to sputter or miss fire. Same happened this morning. The first 10 minutes, it's a great ride...really pushing it. Then the miss firing again.

it really just seems once the car is warmed up...I lose power.

...any suggestions?

Thanks,
Ray

Mine did that when it got warm. It was the ground connections on the back of the motor. These are the Injector grounds, when they got warm, they expanded and then stopped doing that whole conduct electricity thing.
