I have to say that Brandon and Mark did some unique and excellant work on my 914.

I was planning to take pictures for posting on Sunday, but all it has done since then is rain, rain, rain.....

This is California, but guess it is still winter.

With the hood and trunk on?

Hopefully today we will be enough sun to take some pictures.

I do see a little blue sky up there, but not much.

What color do you call it? biggrin.gif

Great question that doesn't have an answer. But a word to the wise, when ever you have your car painted, but sure to lock up the paint somewhere safe.

Mine was painted 5 years ago up in Reno and the shop doesn't keep records, so matching is always an issue.

Very nice. Its another one of those crazy fast lightweight AX cars. You should keep the other two lightweights in our area busy with that car. With a big 4 that car is going to scream.
drewvw
nice ride...does anybody on this site do vintage track racing?

I grew up right near Watkins Glen and go there every year to watch the races. A couple 914s around but not many....

(on second thought...I'll just start a new thread)

Earl's Pro-Lite 350, which I purchased from Summit.

Much nicer on your hands

Excellent Randal! smilie_pokal.gif
Can't wait to see it run with the new motor.

Still trying to decide where I am going to mount the oil cooler....
It is either going up front laying flat in the trunk floor with the fan pushing air out thru the cooler or in the engine bay...mounted where the battery usually sits...battery in right front corner or rear trunk.

I will decide on final mounting with in the next week.
I like your cooler mounting

By the way your car looks great!

Love the color scheme. Great looking car. Looks faaaast.

Damn Randal. It was just a couple of years ago when your car was a stock '75 914 with narrow fenders and big bumpers. Now you've gone and cut the entire roof off of the car!

Looks like you're building a serious Neilsony/Blyholder competitor. I'll be left in the dust.

Thanks, but remember it's only a 4.

A little 2.4 Raby.

I like the front as you have access to ambient air up there
Trekkor
Very nice. I like the candy blue over the *special* trunks. wink.gif

I wonder how close to your times I can get.

How long until the motor goes in?

It looks like you have been doing OK this last year Trekkor.

If you build an autox transmission you'll be the one we all are chasing...

Good luck in Santa Rosa tomorrow. Hope it doesn't rain for you guys up there.

I do hope it rains at the stick. Great for training.

I heard Roberts might even show up at the stick.

Looks like a winner! smilie_pokal.gif
Is the engine nearly done?
In a couple of weeks you should have a shiny new exhaust to go with it. smile.gif
