i'm down to about 1 hour for getting it out and 1 hour for putting it back in.
it also helps to have another set of hands nearby for getting it through the rear firewall ...

after you've done 3 or 4, it'll go much quicker ...

It took so long becasue I took my time and worked on it over several days. I am going through the harness wire by wire and testing / repairing. Then I am going to heat shrink the entire harness where necessary.

BTW - i remember seeing some pics of guys car on this site with "German Flag" heat shrink tubing on the harness. It really looked cool. Does anyone know this car? The car was grey and the installation was one of the cleanest I've seen.
