Just got a new pair of rear brake discs from PP. They are painted gray on the non-brake surfaces. Can I leave the paint on? Also, there is a film of oil on the brake surfaces. I'll clean that with brake cleaner. Anything else I need to do to the the discs before I put them on the car?

Leave the paint alone....it will keep the non braking surface from rusting. smile.gif

Just clean the braking surface with brake cleaner and install as normal.
