Ya know I want to get excited for these old hot rods but just can't.

I went to Cruise night yesterday after work.....pull into the lot and a guy comes running over and asks if I'd like to park with the rest of the Porsche's. I asked if he thought they'd mind as it's really a VW.... His answer was "It has a Porsche Vin number and I'm the PCA president so they better not mind" 
I nestled it inbetween two boxters. Turns out it was Porsche night (every car club gets a night during the summer) so we had prefered parking up front.
No camera, no pictures....but their was a Heally bugeyed sprite that had a 289 Cobra in it
