Does the D-jet use a deceration valve? I have seen diagrams with and without. If it does use the valve, where do you mount the valve?

yes, it certainly does ... mine was mounted next to the throttle body, kinda between the TB and the oil filler neck.
but i don't know for sure if that is the stock location ...

however, the decel-valve is not critical for engine operation, just smoothes out the off-gas transition ...

i removed it and the cold start valve as well from my engine. less clutter, less potential for air-leaks, better off throttle response (faster wind-down of RPMs) ...

Yep, mounts right above the MPS on the same top screw. I take them off as the fittings/rubber elbows are usually shot and vacuum leaks.

The MPS is mounted upside down for the time while I get the LC-1 in and adjust the A/F ratio.
I suspect I'm running rich, in that I get a backfire with deceleration.
BUT, it is running.
