Should I buy a set of them?Engine Flaps
Bleyseng
They do lower the engine temps. So a good idea to have.

Tracks, your teen is looking great!

If you were to get a list of all the bits you are missing and phone Mike, at Mike's 914's in Oshawa, he will give you a way better deal then anything you could ever pull off of ebay.

He would probably give you those flaps fo $15 Canadian plus no brokerage or scum hole UPS double dipping on shipping, etc.

BTW, those flaps look broken to me! Where's the tabs to bolt them on the body?

Mikes Cell # is 905-922-8987

Here his web site but his email doesn't work.

It's been a while since I've been beneath a 914-4. They look like they could be made pretty easily... perhaps cut from one of those semi-truck mud flaps, and screwed into place.

Anyone have the dimensions off hand?

Does anyone have a picture of them installed?

I can take a picture for you later this afternoon.

Making them shouldn't be hard. Haynes has a pic of where they go, with the dimensions of the mounting holes. No dimensions of the flaps themselves though.
