Get out your grinder when you go to fit the pads. They WILL hit the mounting tabs for the 3" mount on the spindle.

BTDT....

that sucks....

i wish bradhole/yeaman would chime in here about teh setup they used

You are NEVER going to live down that picture..... dead horse.gif

On topic.. Wes Hildreth and I had this discussion before I put the 944 calipers on my car. He told me the same thing I told you.. and I said exactly what you are saying.

Guess what... Wes was right... Because he had BTDT.

I was looking at your drawing... with the adapter on the front, you are going to need to put a hump in the middle of the inboard pad, and also you are going to have to be really careful the rotor clears the adapter bracket. To get the caliper centered over the rotor, you are going to have to make the bracket look something like this...

___ __________
______ _________

Otherwise it's not going to center up.

BTW.. It's easier to buy 3.5" bolt spacing struts and install them to put the calipers directly on the mounting points....

Why reinvent the wheel????????

Aaron Cox
"why reinvent the wheel" you ask?

Pride i guess. brad says yeamans car has em on there and runs 15x6" fuchs.... so it can be done.

i may end up with boxsters instead (known to fit under 15) but will probably do this too LOL

Eric is going to mock it up soon
