Looks worth it to me. 2.0 eng, 2 ltr fuchs, interior is not too bad. This is an East coast dream car.

is this gonna be a group buy? if so we need to set some ground rules. i don't want everyone fighting over who gets the whale fin.

Yeah, I don't know how a group buy would work out. I think everyone is going to want the same stuff off the car.

Everyone should sumbit a list of what they want, then the inspecting party can check to see if those parts are available and advise. Then everyone that has a shot at what they want can pitch in. I can use the tranny, engine bar and shifter stuff and will pitch in if noone else wants it.

Only a suggestion, though. You all have a point about parts wants/needs.

I think the core engine is desireable.

Count me in as part of the purchasing group.

Just e-mailed/called. It is titled, but definitely just a parts car (longs are rusty). Allegedly the trunks are in decent shape, but thats about it for the steel (both doors appear to be either rusty or dented, all fenders have either rust outs or cut outs). Interior looks okay, can see the mold in the pics, could go either way when seeing in real life. I'm going to try to see it either later this week or this weekend if it is still around, sucks that the wheels aren't included though. I'll let you know the status later tonight.

no shiny thingies...but if Chris is interested in any steely bits to get off the green 914, it might be better to do before Ronny stashes it outside.

If you are going to cut up that green 914, then I'm definitely interested in pulling some steel off it, but I though it was going to be rebuilt? It would be a shame for it to not be rebuilt, yeah, it will never be a show car, but it still could be a good driver.
