good point. We are in such high gear here with our business that it is very hard to do what we want with postings. Thankfully January is the best time to chat, as there is lessened mail order activity here (although the restoration is in high gear!!!). I read these threads and know that there is a "ton" of information I have and could post but just again do not have the time!

I went to college in Jacksonville and used to hang out at the Brumos race shop downtown. The (your) 916 use to sit in the corner of the shop with a cover on it and had a flat on one of the tires. It looked sad. It still had the original interior and paint. This was about 2 years after PG took his life.

Jake: Ferry Porsche would give you a medal if he were here, for saving the world from Porsch-arus or Sub-orsches, or whatever. And his dad would be amazed at what you get out of his old 1930s-derived motor design. We all owe you a lot--and are sure to pay it when we spring for the package--smiling all the way.
