On a 2.0 liter, are the intake runners different from one side to another?
The reason I ask is that I have 4 of them, and I need to choose two that I will clean up and paint...and damned if I see any difference...
I dont have a motor to bolt them to at this moment, but I will if I hear that there is an angle diffference...

What paint color are the intake runners?
Is it stock to paint the cast aluminum part, or just the tube?
I have two that have paint on some of the cast aluminum part...just not all.

It seems to be some sort of gray paint..
Please someone tell me a close equivelant color I can get locally.

The grey paint covers the intake, dunno what color it is. Look at the factory pic

Are the runners the same shape/size on both sides?

Its hard to tell with them in your hands...they look the same...

i'm gonna say they're the same, at least i couldn't tell any difference. if the runners are old and had FI installed, you can look at the under side of the runner that had the air cleaner box support bracket clamped on and see left over marks.
personally, i like the stock look and powdercoated mine a grey

I believe they are interchangable.

I dont think they are the same, at least the 1.7/1.8 ones are not.

The 2.0 ones are the same from side to side. Same part numbers.

The 1.7s are the same side to side as well.

So are the 1.8s.

They are all different from each other, though.

Thanx Dave.
I was gonna redo three if I could not figure it out.
That way I am sure to have two that work...lol

Now I can just do two of them...they certainly look the same, but its really hard to measure angles etc...
