So I have this spare MPS. I don't know if its a 1.7 or 2.0 model. It has 2 sets of numbers on it. They are:
0 280 100 041
022 906051E
Ok, so does anyone know which one this is? Also, how do I test to see if it is still functional?
This will likely wind up on the parts forum at some point, so any guidance on reasonable selling price is appreciated as well.

041 was a VW 1.7L possibly 1.8L based on the OE. I can look it up tomorrow.
1.) You need to pull a vacuum on it to 15" - 20". AFAIR, it shouldn't leak down more than 5 lbs in 5 minutes ..... PBanders site has the specifics.
2.) You should check the ohm value between the pins. AFAIR, it's 90 ohms between the two inner conections and 350 ohms between the two outer pins. (it could be the other way around too!)
I've sold them for $50 - $75
And it appears to have been rebuilt in its' life ..... the halves are held together with screws not rivits.

Thought it was only a choice between 1.7 and 2.0.
Can anyone search that part number?
