Has anyone done research in comparing a v8 914, with a cobra?

They both are around 2500lbs, close to 50/50 weight, and 425hp... Those are pretty impressive numbers for any car.

After looking at some cobra pics I think I would take a 914-v8 b/c the cobra is a full out race car with not much else besides a few gauges and a trunk. Not to mention most of them are kit cars with undone details.

btw: is anyone selling a 914-v8

What was the stats on the cobras? 0-100-0 in 13 seconds flat. Cornering or track times, I dunno.

My classic car insurance ran $241 this year, (but 2500 mi limit.)

Cobra replica handles OK on a track, but not an autocross type car. (I haven't got my 914 running yet, so no real comparison.) Longer wheelbase and heavier steering - more like 2700# on an Arntz/Butler frame. I'm hoping the 914 will be lighter and handle better - plus, a little easier to get parts when things break.
