I have 35 rooms reserved, but I suggest you book soon, because we used all of them last year, and every other hotel in Moab seems to be booked this year.
If there is a problem booking a room, please send me a pm, and I'll fix it for you.

When you call in, tell them you are with the clubNARP or 914World group, and you will receive the discounted rate.

We are trying to work out the event registration fee right now, and are waiting for price quotes from the restaurants. As you know, all of the money from last year went to all of your meals, and anything left over was donated to CHARITY. Last year's recipient of the charity funds ($1500) cried at the presentation. It was pretty moving.

We anticipate the registration fee for the event will be no more than $70 this year.

(children will be actual food cost only)

The registration deadline is 9/1/07, due to reservations.
we need people to pre-pay, but will refund anyone that needs to drop out before registration closes.
(plus we are usually able to refund right up until a few days prior to the event)

The local number is what we've been using.

They have actually been very accomadating.

I'll call my contact in the morning and let them know. Maybe they'll give us a bigger discount

but let me know that you made your reservation, so that she can reference it

I called and got some woman yelling at her kids in Spanish.

Hung up.

Called back got a very nice girl who took my reservation.

Made an early reservation, just contacted Brant to pony up some fees ?

I did get a room. Had to call the 800#, they try tell they were full and then they said there was no club rate for us. But we got a room that's all that counts. I did call the local number the 1st time I got the girl telling me I would have to call back and the 2nd time I got the guy telling he was to busy.

You have to look at it from their side also. If they were in the middle of a big rush and had lots of people checking in and out when they get a phone call, who do they service first. Hard to answer. Isn't it better to tell you they are busy and to call back or to put you on hold for a long time?

I've the same type of problem at an auto parts store. I am in the middle of being helped, they are looking up parts for me and the phone rings. They stop to answer the phone and go on to answer that persons questions. Pisses me off. I asked a friend who works at a parts store why they did that. He told me that he knows how much of a sale I will be making from the questions I have already asked, he doesn't know how much of a sale the phone will bring. It might be a $1000.00. So they answer the phone.

My apologies to those that called last night and had troubles with registering.
It turns out that the girl you probably spoke to is working her last shift tonight.
The hotel manager is going to have a word with her about last night's phone calls.

I think Brant has 25+ registrations so far. Most of the regulars have yet to register, but we figure they are shoe ins.

I don't remember what the cut off date is, but this year, it will effect what you get in your goody bag. I have to order that stuff pretty soon.

Just hoping I'm well enough to make it. Have my room reservered, just not sure how well I'll be doing by the time this event happens. Gotta get my car inspected and emission tested this month. Here hoping.....

I just spoke to the HOTEL.

Our group reserved 27 rooms. The remaining rooms were given back to their National reservation desk. However, I sweet talked them into giving us 5 MORE ROOMS for reservations. If you have not booked a room, you only have 9 days to do so. She said that the hotel is pretty much full at this point, so this is a last chance offer
