Full Version: How do ya tell if a rear control arm is bent?

Blondie has an issue with camber....the left rear MAY be bent.....how can you tell if it's still on the car?

You sort of work it backwards, If you can get the stock camber adjusted with approx three shims and stock length bolts it's not bent. The more shims needed, the more bent it is. If you think it's bent, it probably is. Same for tow, if you can't get there it's bent.

I belive there were stock measurements in the haynes for the control arms this may help to see if it is bent.
dunno how accurate Haynes numbers are though laugh.gif
