Here are some specs for a car I'm looking at. As shown, it doesn't mean much to me...I'm not sure how it compares to factory specs/quality. confused24.gif I guess the question is, do these specs justify a higher than average selling price (parts/specs only...ignoring that the engine has been rebuilt)?

I think I've learned at least few things in the past 12 months of owning my 914, here's what I make of it:

It's a 1.8. 96mm...bigger bore, right? Is the e cam a more agressive than stock cam? It's carb'd. ...and that's about it. Still, feels good to know at least something. smile.gif

Thanks!

96 mm makes the engine a 1911cc.
Valves are 42X36 so they have been taken out to the size for 2L engines
40 IDFs on it

Does it warrant more? Probably. How much more?
Who was it built by?

Besides that, I don't know. Not sure about the cam but more aggressive than stock

I defer to the experts on this one though

Stock bore for the 1.8 is 93mm so they are bigger bore.
1911 is a nice upgrade to the 1.8
I've got something that is similar (but kept the FI) and it's good fun
How much is being asked for it?
