OK My 74 2.0 (ole Rusty) died a few weeks ago and I bought a parts car for the engine. Did the swap and the new (to me) 2.0 runs great! However the clutch/tranny does not work so great. So this weekend I am going to swap trannys and clutch with the one I took out of ole Rusty. Now I have done lots of 911 clutches and have always dropped the engine and tranny together, but I was looking on Pelican for a tech article on changing the clutch out and it say to just drop the tranny. So which way would you go? Drop it all or just the tranny? beerchug.gif

Doesn't really matter.
I would do just transaxle because that's my mood today.
Just put a jack stand under the engine to support.

It's easy to do the tranny, and not too bad if you have to remove the flywheel.

For just changing the tranny/clutch I would not drop the engine too. Lower the tail

down so you have enough room to pull the tranny and support the engine in that

position and pull the trans.
