The shop that painted that six is painting mine , I will ask em if its a factory or special blend.

Not real 914 colors, but they do have Porsche roots. Can anybody guess? And why we named him Huey?

Is Tangerine the same as Phoenix Red? Was this a normal 914-6 color too?
No Tangerine and Phoenix Red are different. Phoenix Red was not available when the 914-6 was being produced. However, Tangerine and Blood Orange are the same and was available for the 914-6 and 914-4 thru 1972. Phoenix Red replaced Tangerine for the 1973 ML.

The best color is whatever color it left the factory in!
