We did... Well at least we tried. Bush awarded the contract for the fence to a Texas contractor and he fenced Mexico out instead of fencng Texas off from the rest of us... Stupid contractor still expects to get paid after that screw up!

No, He is not going to get paid. He didn't finish the fence yet. It was supposed to go ALL the way AROUND Texas to keep out the Yankees and Californians.....

The fence should only allow trucks from Ford and GM into the state for sale...this way we can consolidate all the overpriced gas hogs into a state that can produce enough oil to support them.

Yeah, my family back in WF gives me a hard time for walking through those gates somewhere around Randlett where the turnpike starts... Admittedly The Cult up here (some people say they come from OU there in Norman) has been pretty friendly with the banter and I haven't disappeared yet. Always feel safer in a crowd of OSU fellows... I was in Garland. My girlfriend lives there and she had a honey do list for me. She's fix'n up the house in prep to come out to the OC.

Clay, they're just mad that they can't drill for oil and everyone's leaving California and coming to Texas...I think we're up to about 17 gas wells pumping in our nieghborhood right now, or is it 18? I lose count all the time. Take 'em for a Hill Country drive in a 914 and they'll leave anywhere and move to Texas just for the scenery, if not the money! Bill

4. Not as Crowded as California.
5. Cheaper gasoline.
6. Less Crazy People.
7. Real Seasons.
8. No Earthquakes.
9. People are friendly.


And the 10th reason:

We have all the twisty roads you want in the hill country around Austin and east of there too.....

Dont forget that everyone and anyone can and does carry a loaded firearm...cause you never know when you will need a loaded firearm in Texas...especially since everyone else has one.

the other benefit is that the state hat and boots will make you appear taller.
