So I was thinking (I do that from time to time), I lack the financial fortitude to invite all of my 914 friends to the wedding, and Noel refused to let me charge admission, but that does not apply to the bachelor party! We are planing on having it in San Jose starting at 10pm on the 17 of Oct. I have so many friends up in that area, this is the only way to get to see you all before I take the long walk on the green mile.

So, where? No ideas. The only rule, NO STRIPPERS! Ya, I am a prude. I hate going to strip clubs......it gives me needs Plus, when you go to the strip clubs as the groom you might as well be painted with $20 bills and I dont need that kind of aggravation.

I like to drink, shoot pool, drink, etc.

I dont know the San Jose area real well but there is was a great pool hall off of 101 that also had a volley ball court in the back. Can't remember the name of the place. But it's worth the trip. I think its closer to San Mateo. If you want to bring it into the SF Bay area there was a great place off of Golden Gate called Hollywood Billards. They had some great tables and some beautiful waitresses.

Yeah forget the strippers. Every time I run into one I somehow lose $200 in 30 minutes.

I once went to a bachelor party at a country western bar with a mechanical bull. That was a fun night.

I had the same rule at my bachelor party.

We did frisbee golf, a grand prix race at a local go-cart place and went to a brewery downtown. It was up in Sacramento. I think there is or used to be a cart place in the san jose area.

I had two bachelor parties. One was at Captian Creams in Lake Forest. The other was for family, where we only had two strippers. I don't drink so I had to do something.

Because what happens in San Jose stays in San Jo............wait that's Vegas. Sounds like the Bay Area 914 troops need to rally for a get together for billiards and drinks. Trevor and Mike pick the place and time we will get the guys there.

There is an indoor karting place in Burlingame (http://www.gokartracer.com/) that'll get the blood going and helps get the beer flowing afterward. Steelhead Brewery isn't too far away (http://www.steelheadbrewery.com/) from the kart place, either -- only 1.1 miles. San Jose is about 30 miles from Burlingame.

I live in Davis, but would be willing to drive down to help celebrate your waning hours of bachelorhood....

They have one at the Saddle rack!!! Typical cowboy bar but they mix in rock music every other set!

The Saddle Rack was a fun place, last I heard it closed back in '00. I rode the mechanical bull there and it tossed my 200# ass to the end of the mat Good thing I was drinking. They also had a barbers chair that they would tilt you back in and mix drinks in your mouth. I am not a county music fan, but that place was interesting non the less.

It is now open in Fremont! I am not into country but even I had a good time last time I went!

Ah, it moved. I was surprised that it closed, it was always packed.
