Long story...short recap:
74 LE burned down sad.gif
I was jones'ing for 914 so I bought a 73 1.7L, then I blew the 1.7's engine!
So I repaired/rebuilt LE engine & put it in the 73 as a driver
Then I started the resto on LE & needed the # matching engine so...
out it comes and order the OC 2056
Along happens a 2 car deal with a fresh 1.7L in one, & the other a bad 2.0L
I update the 1.7's motor with 96's & slap on the 2.0L liter heads, FI & exhaust from the other motor = nice 1911 driver.
The OC 2056 wasn't done/delivered so I bolted up the 1911cc to the 73. smile.gif
I reluctantly sold that car and the LE is 99.999% done, so its time to off the spares.

FS: Original Customs Build. 2056 +
If you are unfamiliar, follow the thread $5k motor in the member vendors
section or go here for detail.

This is a 0 (zero) miles 2056 (2.1L) built off of one of Jake's kits customized for OC
Due to circumstances this engine became a spare and has never been installed.
Engine is as spec'ed, with the only internal variation of ceramic lifters applied
(a $600 ugrade WHEN you could get them) so you needn't worry about cam failure
Rather than a long block (delivered), this is a COMPLETE motor/drive train (IE includes trans & linkage).
Bolt in, apply induction, connect wiring and fuel and go. driving.gif

Here's the rub (flame suit on). This isn't a fire sale,
so I'm looking to get back what I have into this kit.
If the consensus is its to much $$
& I'll likely be sitting on this forever, I have a plan B. happy11.gif

Per the program the cost of the build is $5000.

This thing is pretty Trick! pray.gif

Figure a conservative 125HP / 130FPT likely more w/PEFI system of your choice or well sorted Carb's
That alone is an approx 30% increase in power over Stock!!
Lets call it $10K
Seems like a lot I know, but price it out and you'll see it adds up fast

Am fairly sure builder would still honor limited warranty?
Any interest?
