The person who aquired the car from Oakland impound, King Oruruo, aka King city enterprises is operating a fraudulent dealership, without a dmv dealers license, He is crooked as they come, and has the California DMV breathing down his back. The sale he made was fraudulent, as was a vehicle I bought from him. If you can locate a copy of the auction sale report from B&B vehicle processors(SUPENA),aka oakland impound, you can find that he never transfered it into his name for resale, a violation that he can be held liable for physical, and punitive damages. ACT fast, as he has @ 200-300 Small Claims cases in process, his asssets are going to be frozen, and he will be required to pay restitution, and damages.

a current phone for this jerk is 510-688-4003. The California franchise tax board, DMV, and the city of Oakland are in the process of filing felony auto racketeering charges, tax evasion, and the list goes on.

I have a list of 32 cars he purchased at one sale, and never filed a DMV report of sale on any of them, and that is where the mixup over the title came from. File a complaint with the Hayward Ca DMV investigations office asap, while he is still under investigation. You may not get the car back, but he is liable for treble damages! If you google that phone number, you will find all kinds of listings, as a private party, but if you look at the background for most pics, it shows the fence of his unlicensed car lot! located at 7000 international blvd, oakland Ca. The leinsaler was B&B, not King, and it was his resposibility to clear all DMV holds, penalties, and fees. By passing the leinsale papers forward, the buyer was able to illegaly obtain title through an unsuspecting DMV office.

There is also a good chance that B&B violated the laws of impound, may be involved in a theft ring, and may be held jointly liable. He is also violating California internet fraud laws by advertising as a private party, and not a dealer, punishable by up to $50,000 fines. If you proove he bought, then sold this car without doing the proper paper work, you can proove falsified documentation to ebay, and the California Highway patrol, and hang the whole lot of them!

Good luck on settling your case

You know I am sure the OP posted that mess with good intentions; but it really makes no sense. I just wish people would read their posts carefully before clicking send.

Then of course this is just another nail in the coffin of Oakland. Is anyone in Oakland honest? (I know there are honest citizens there somewhere with their heads down, hiding and sleeping in bathtubs at night.)

I seem to recall some kind of controversy involving a 914 snatched by parking authority while the owner was out of the country, held in a towing yard until it was auctioned. This King person was trying to sell it on EBay when the owner who had reported it stolen on his return from abroad discovered it there. Lots of drama...

Not sure who this DMVWATCHDOG is though... Seems to me, having dealt with CA DMV that if there was a DMVWATCHDOG it would be barking all the time.

As for there being no honest people living in Oakland, Andy lives there along with several other members here. Lots of very good people in Oakland.

I don't know if it was the 914 in question--probably not--red (orig silver if trunks are to be believed) being sold as a '71, complete with a pic of a 71 VIN. It's bumpers are 73 style, and even weirder, it has the 73/74 front trunk half-circular brace. WTF? I'll look for the link. . .

I wonder if he works for the Palo Alto Police Dept and is still chasing #4.

What bothers me is that this has apparently been going on for a while and our Justice system was probably on another taxpayer funded fact finding tour in the Bahamas. Thank you Gubernator for your support.

And yes, this is a political statement so those Admins with their panties in a wad can delete it.

I am referring to the 914 sold on ebay, that thread was closed, and I felt the victim should be made aware that he still has legal recourse.
I am going through a simular problem with the same unlicensed dealer, over a vehicle i bought from him, to find out it was a theft recovery, wth an illegaly obtained title. This King nut needs to feel the pressure from all sides. I have uncovered several more high end cars that were towed illegaly, leinsaled fast to beat the hot sheet, to obtain title. Thank god it wasnt my 928! , and I may be able to give hime some of the dirt I dug up on this King dirtbag, An arrest is pending in the investigation. Due to the size of this guys operation, DMV wouldnt use the Oakland investigations office, they rerouted it to the Hayward DMV because of the possibility of coruption in Oakland city impound! Criminal, and civil carges have been filed in my case, I had to surrender the vehicle I bought back to the orig owner, and was glad to do it.

I certainly wasn't knocking your intentions with the thread, but as was mentioned, without context, I was confused as all get out. I'd seen a thread on the club site when I was there, but wasn't sure if this was related or not as no context had been given.

As a side note, even if you believe that a thread has been "closed", you can still link to it. If a thread is "closed" or locked, it still remains viewable. Then everyone will be on the same page right off the bat, thus assistance can be rendered quicker.

I spoke to Aaron, and have arranged further communication, as to the guy that bought the car, he can be forced to surrender it, as i was mine. Its the right thing to do, and If he bought it on EBAY, he has a way to recover his financial loss. The judicial system will protect Aarons rights with the Docs he and I have. As to how easy can you get a title on a stolen vehicle, if the vehicle goes to leinsale auction before it makes the hotsheet they can obtain a title, although illegaly. As this case unfolds, Aaron should be able to recover his car, or treble the value from the current false owner, and the state will stand behind the victim. I am contacting several of the people who have been victimized by this dirbag, and informing them, because once this case comes to court, basicaly as far as damages, it is first come first served. I have already filed for an injunction to freeze the freaks assets, and am ready to take him to court, with the DMV investigator working the case as an expert witness. The creep is looking at 10 to 20 with a min of 50,000 in fines, and restitution. Not to mention punitive damages.

The person in possesion of this car needs to do the right thing, as the penalties are very severe, and he knows that the vehicle was stolen, and fraudulently titled

California penal code reads as follows

This was taken from the 2008(current)California Vehicle code book, and can be viewed at this link http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/appndxa/p...o/penco496d.htm

Penal Code
496d. (a) Every person who buys or receives any motor vehicle, as defined in Section 415 of the Vehicle Code, any trailer, as defined in Section 630 of the Vehicle Code, any special construction equipment, as defined in Section 565 of the Vehicle Code, or any vessel, as defined in Section 21 of the Harbors and Navigation Code, that has been stolen or that has been obtained in any manner constituting theft or extortion, knowing the property to be stolen or obtained, or who conceals, sells, withholds, or aids in concealing, selling, or withholding any motor vehicle, trailer, special construction equipment, or vessel from the owner, knowing the property to be so stolen or obtained, shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for 16 months or two or three years or a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or both, or by imprisonment in a county jail not to exceed one year or a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), or both.

(cool.gif For the purposes of this section, the terms "special construction equipment" and "vessel" are limited to motorized vehicles and vessels.

(Added Sec. 1, Ch. 710, Stats. 1998. Effective January 1, 1999.)
This is excellent news for Aaron
also trying to charge $2000 for the return constitutes extortion and has its own severe penalties, and prison sentences
The person that has his car needs to return it to avoid these penalties! Aaron can also Freeze and suspend the registration, and title to prevent any attempt to sell it to get out of these fines, and penalties

AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE!
Jail, No,
Law school, No,
Vehicle Recovery, Yes, for 20+ years, and the poor spelling works to get people to talk. I just got the admission of guilt that Aaron needed via email, from the one that has his car, admiting he knows it was stolen. It is still on an active hotsheet in Oakland Ca, all Aaron needs to do now is file criminal carges against the one that has his car, I have sent him the info needed to get it back, either voluntarily, which would save the person who has it a lot of legal problems, and felony charges, or through the criminal justice system. The fact that he is trying to sell it, or will return for money, just adds to his list of problems, as it now become extortion as well. If he sells it now, he also adds to the charges stacking up against him, Trafficking in stolen property. If the person who has it now bought it off Ebay, He is covered for his finacial loss, IF he does the right thing.
I didnt do this one for Aaron, and have no contract with him(Call it a gift, as his loss was the key I needed), I just came across it in my work , recovering losses for several clients victimized by King Oruruo, The penal code email was the bait, sent to 3 suspects, to flush out the admission I needed.Sorry if it startled you. My work here on this site is done. Thanks to all who replied, as you have helped 32 victims, + Aaron.

OMG, you are a dummy.

Everyone else: Here's what BJ (Boy Jenius) did to track down one of the "suspects"... (apparently ME! blink.gif ).

He reads the old thread on this matter:

http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...20ebay&st=0

And stumbles upon post # 51:

http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?s=&...st&p=918224

In that post, I quoted "Smokey" and posted a pic of someone reading "Hooked on Phonics" to poke fun at Smokey for his poor spelling/grammar.

So, BJ (Boy Jenius DMVWATCHDOG) reads the post AND ASSUMES THE QUOTED SECTION ARE MY WORDS! He doesn't understand the quotes are from a previous post (by Smokey) which I attached by clicking "quote" in my reply.

He sends me an e-mail of the CA Penal Code re: car theft (nothing else, just the code summary). I reply "WTF?", to which he states I'm a "suspect". So, just to bait the 'tard further, of course I admit to everything... biggrin.gif

Now he's going to get a "supena" for my e-mail records and report me to the authorities unless I cough up the car...LOL.

God, it doesn't get much better than this. You can't buy better entertainment.

And furthermore...don't dismiss my warning DMVWATCHDOG...if you post any identifying information on me, I will own you, your home (most likely a trailer), your boat business, your websites, your car (err...it's a 928? Nevermind...I'll let you keep that) and I might even take your dog as part of the settlement! Unfortunately, I can't attach your disability payments from the State, but if I could, I would.

wow. so the guy comes here to help out Aaron, and everyone jumps on the bandwagon to attack him.

make up your mind, do you want Aaron to get his car back, or not?

Sorry, when someone with 8 posts here starts all this drama without an introduction, I am skeptical. The original poster can clear it all up by telling us who he is and what his agenda really is. I smell ulterior motive. But what do I know..........is that a train whistle I hear?

Dude's pissed because he had to give up a car. He's trying to get as many people to jump on his bandwagon of filing charges as he can.

But what do I know... I only picked up the phone and actually talked to people to try to help Aaron get his car back.
