Thanks for posting pictures and comments of my red one. Soon to have a restored set of pedrinni's on it to get a little closer to the italian market look. By the way it's a 76'.

I hate to say it, but I think these Riverias really kick ass on the green 914 in posts #1-3! Really!, and this is coming from someone who had to dig around and shell out bucks for some orig 2.0 alloys to replace the old beat up Rivs on his car. Maybe it's because I haven't seen a decent set of Rivs on a nice teener in many years, but this car, especially with the dealer-style side stripe, really has a cool period look. This is what I remember new teeners looking like when I was a little kid and digging them.

Porsches 2 Oxford has to be one of the best Porsche car shows around, even in the rain the cars and people were great. The 914 group showed up in good numbers. Below are most of the 914s I was able to see and photograph in between the rain storms.

Nice, my daughter graduated from Miami of Ohio, in Oxford, in 2007, and in all the 4 years she was there I missed every parade, thanks for the pictures.

Thanks for the great photos!
Can anyone comment on the wheels on the black 914-6? Are these Fuchs or the Linea Corse Fox wheels? The Linea Corse Website is a pain to use.

Those are Fuchs. They're refinished RSR style with polished lips.

Van,
Where were you? Erik and I kept waiting for you to show up.
Also I am pretty sure the guy said those wheels came from suby-dude.

Wish I still made the money I did in 1999.
I could have afforded them back then.
Never ever would have thought that I would make more at 35 than any other time in my life.

Did not make it. I went to Columbus with some of my HS Buddies and played golf and cards.

All those pictures must be photo-shopped 'cause there can't possibly be 11 914s
that friggin' nice registered here in Ohio.
I bet those photos were taken in California somewhere and either someone slapped a bunch of Ohio plates on 'em or, as I said, the pics have been altered
Did any of those 914s merit any awards? I'd be surprised and disappointed if they didn't.

It seems that there are more and more beautiful 914s emerging in the Midwest. I think the daily drivers rusted away years ago, and the cars have been undergoing restorations for the last number of years. They're now emerging for nice events and are every bit as nice as those on the coasts.
It's just that we can only drive them for a few months a year!!!!!!!!!!
