550 Spyder Project This is not a kit. It is a one-of-a-kind copy of 550 Spyder #063 body on a tubular space frame with modified Porsche 914 mechanicals. It is not finished.
After 20 years and thousands of hours, I am "running out of gas" and time on this labor of love. This is a very special car for the right person. It is more than 95% complete, but needs someone with good mechanical skills who would enjoy a challenge that would produce a very fast, sturdy and reliable car. I did not get a title for the donor car, since it was not required at the time I bought it. I think this may be an obstacle here in Massachusetts. Maybe there is a procedure for it, but I have no more time or energy for it. OR: Maybe someone wants a great track car and doesn't need a title. No more welding is needed. The only major parts not included are a windshield and an exhaust system. I don't think this could be duplicated for less than $30K. If you would like pictures and specifications, please email me at jimpavao@gct21.net.
