I can't really tell if these are 14x5.5 or 14x4.5.....

The tires are 185/60/14's if that helps with the reference. I am still new enough that this angle looks like either or....
brant
Eric,

they didn't make a 14 x 4.5

they did make a 14 x 5.5
and also a 15 x 4.5
and also a 15 x 5.5

so if those are the 14's we talked about they have to be 5.5 wide

I thought the real early 66-67's were 4.5 ? 901.361.012.01

they were, but they were 15 inches in diameter and not 14's
(actually I believe exclusively available in 1967 on the S model)

Cool! Thank you for setting me straight Brant! You are the man!

My rears had to be rolled to fit this size on my narrow body.
They need to be rolled a little more if i want to remove any neg. camber.

From research it appears all wheel wells are a little different. You might get lucky but IIRC most cars will have to be rolled a little in rear for the 16x6 to work.

Fronts are no problem.

I'm no Fuching Expert tho!!
Maybe I have 7's also and it was just to damn early in the morning for me??
Good Luck

Goddam, the reason I thought these 6 would fit is that I thought the 7's were the ones that didn't fit without rolling the lip and 6's were a good fit sad.gif

Or
SLITS
And "That Guy" chimes in trying to take my title away pissoff.gif

And 14s are good wheels ... just because you can't get useless tires for them is no reason to call them "hose reels"

Do these make my thighs look big?

Rod... 6's should fit fine.

I have 6X16 Fuchs with 205/50-16 tires. The clearance in the back is right at 1/4" with no fender rolling. I believe if you go to 225's you will have to roll the rear fenders.

You are bidding on a set of (5) 14" Fuchs Wheels. These 5 1/2" x 14" were custom widened, then machined trued and balanced and are now 7". They were then polished and painted silver to the early 911S color scheme. We had these wheels created by a machinist who races the Bonneville Salt Flats and says they are properly welded, trued and balanced. New three-prong style center caps were installed on all 5 wheels. New valve stems on 4 of them. We have $1500 of quality machine work invested in these wheels and they are in great condition. These wheels were built for the Redline Service race car. We now have to run 15" wheels in our class.
Please note that these 14" wheels will not fit on alloy S calipers.
SLITS
I guess this means you won't be needing the fully polished 14" X 5.5" with hand painted caps I offered to loan you .... biggrin.gif

Val must be really understanding or is she posturing for a new Cayman? av-943.gif

*I run 15"X7" Cookies on a narrow body. Close in the rear, but no cigar as yet! And I have run "S" calipers with 14s.
Sleepin
For the price I paid, I can chop em up for clocks for RRC 2010! And then that dickhead Jeff can repaint them to match his car again! lol-2.gif

Those were sold out from under me...time to look for the next coolest deal.

15x7 Fuchs or Phone Dials fit? I know the 15x7 Cookies fit a narrow body usually...but are tight.
sixnotfour
Fuchs and ATS have the same. 23.3
there is two different offsets for phone dials.
23.3 and 52 ? 15 inchers

Nothing wrong there ... just redrilled for 5 or 4 .... hard to tell which came first.

A little welding and all will be fine.
