Went to the WCC06 this last weekend. What a great time. Met lots of new faces and had a great time in my car. Saturday the 8th was officially the last day that I drove my car as a four. It is now off with Joe O'Brien for the 3.2 conversion. The plan is to have it back in plenty of time to get ready for RRC06 in Moab. See you there! ![]()
Took the car into the shop today for a oil change and tune up prior to heading out to WCC. Turns out the small leak in the rear caliper isn't due to my workmanship, I need a new caliper. Called up Eric Shea and a new set of calipers are on the way. Got my new LE airdam installed the other day. Thanks James. Also got my new shift knob installed. I just committed to buying some fiberglass rockers. They should go with the the new LE spoiler that I got from morphenspecttra. I'm going to try going all yellow with them to match the car and see how it looks. The challenge will be matching the colors...
Just got the car back from the shop today. It was hesitating between 2800 - 3000rpm's. The needle would jump around a little bit in that area as well. They replaced the points and set the timimg. It runs like a champ now. They also adjusted the valves while they had it.
A few weeks ago I had a hot-start problem. I had a hot-start relay put in. Opinions on this site seem to vary if that is an actual fix or just a band-aid. I thought I would take my chances and just install the relay for now. I also found some grills without holes to install in the front bumper.
