I would have thought you'd have suggested to see it from the side of the road, while talking to a highway patrol... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/poke.gif)

It's nice to see evidence that I wasn't the only one that got pushed! (I'm the guy in the middle helping to push Jeff's car - the least I could do considering all the pushes that I got!)

Thanks for the great pics, John. I'd love to know just which route you took to get home - it looks like something well worth exploring.

Ok, now that I've had my RRC fix for this morning, maybe I can get to work. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

But I thought they said they were from Idaho ?

Yeah, but just a little ! Fortunately the car ran well for the whole trip, and I learned a lot about it on the way. And that one drive back from "Island in the Sky"-- when we were a little more relaxed about speed limits -- I wouldn't have missed that for the world.

Great pics, BTW.

That was a VERY fun stretch of road - even in a Jetta TDI. I kept looking out for that park ranger that followed us up though. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif)

Wish I would have had the 914...

Great job John, Elivira is like the roaming gnome of the 914 club.

After Joe outed the group of terrorists, I said they were probably from somewhere like Idaho (wink wink) and the guy said (in a thick accent) ya, just north of Coeur D' Alene. Priceless.

The drive some of us took with Russell on Saturday. You did not attend.

Great pics everyone!
John, thanks for that pic of my car and I. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif)

Really sad that I missed the tour and dinner on friday. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) But I had something more important to do, like bring my 914 to Moab! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

OK, I'm back. I'm on vacation in FL and have been having a hard time getting online regularly.

Man, unbelievable pictures. I'm pretty sure John Peterson is in the wrong profession because photography is clearly his talent.

To be honest, I was expecting way more ribbing, but that'll work.

As always, I love you guys and Joe Sharp is my hero.........

After arriving, we got to meet Russell.
This was a blind stroke of luck, Russell was just amazing.

russell is a local of moab and a 914 owner. he also works for the BLM and provided us with maps that he helped create. he was a terrific tour guide and we were truly lucky to have him along. thanks russell. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Mainly because your a terrorist. We don't don't think terrorist should have avatars like that.

Wrong Joe...I am sure that this will have been said by now, but Joe O accused the foriegners of being terrorists no matter what he says...

I had a blast getting to know so many people! Lauren, thanks for the delightful new phrases I can use to *really* offend people when necessary! (people might think we don't have educational discussions at these things!)

I am always happy to help educate people in the ways the English language can be used to make people feel all warm and fuzzy inside! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/happy11.gif)

It was really great to see you and Gint again...I will keep you updated on when I will be in Denver!

Make sure you do - come up and ski/board!

We may even let Joe stay if he doesn't yell at us until we have to kick him out and make him go to the Super 8.
