Ya... wasn't even under a tree but the gawdam bird did a flyby & spread white shit from the targa bar, down the drivers seat back, splattered the arm rest, deposited white specks in the deep waffel pattern of the seat cushions and embedded splashes into my speaker grills....... AND... I found it after getting off work. Insult to injury of a shitty day (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif)

the hazards of parking with the top off (IMG:style_emoticons/default/finger.gif)

Many years ago a bird left a deposit on the rear deck lid that I apparently didn't notice right away. When I washed it off, I found that it left a permanent purplish stain in the Malaga red paint. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) That bird must have been eating some powerful purple berries of some kind. If I could've got my hands on him... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ar15.gif)

Many years ago when I really had no money, I rode a motorcycle (78 XL 350) everywhere, rain, sleet, shine, snow etc.. On the way to class one morning, a bird hit me right in the chest, knocked my hands off the bars, I was able to recover, but the (it was the 80's) white linen jacket I was wearing had blue berry scat all over the front of it. totally ruined the jacket! I learned right there and then , that my open top cars would never endure the same damage, so its, top on for me. On anther note, I once went to the movies and left my 356 Cab with the top down, not a cloud in the sky, came out and still not a cloud, but opened the door and the car had 6 inches of water in it. Gotta love those midwestern rain showers.
