Yeah, when I bought it, my wife just kept saying, "But it's soooo green!"

It grows on you and after awhile you start acquiring accessories in green (shirt, watch, key fob, ...) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

Wow Kevin, always regretted selling the car. You have done a great job of finishing it. I have seen a few of your times on the AZ PCA site and it is cool to see you enjoying it. I will have to sell the current car (original 1970 914-6) to be able to get the car back but stranger things have happened... Again, great job on the car (may PM you with a few questions).

hey David! Most of the work was yours! You put together a great combination and selected solid parts/shops. I'm really not wanting to sell it as it's the manliest car I've ever owned (even over the 911s) cuz it sounds soooo mean! But my wife isn't interested in the track so it's time to get something more agreeable.

I updated the pics (now that I'm figuring out how to reduce the size I was able to add more of the undercarriage as requested by a few folks).

It looks like a G50 with they hydraulic clutch but it's actually a 915. It's a 1980 model with the stronger aluminum case (instead of the earlier magnesium). It's stock 1980 911SC gearing. I always wanted to get LSD and close ratio gears but it's a pricey upgrade.

Yup car is sold and Jeff is the new Grnmnee master! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

I'm really bummed to be parting with it (honestly I didn't expect it to sell so soon) but I couldn't be happier that the monster is going to a really good home.

I really miss my Phoenix, which was on the same path as your car, but I have to admit I am really excited about the project I am working on. It's always sad seeing something you have blood sweat and tears into but there is always the next great project (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) I can't wait to see your car in person and I will make sure Jeff treats it as intended (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) . Keep us in the loop of what you end up doing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
