As the title states, what’s the elusive unicorn that would make you lose your mind if you found it at a swap meet or buried in an old timers garage?

I understand more parts are being reproduced and that’s awesome but sometimes original just can’t be beat or reproduced.

Please exclude one off or pure race stuff, while very cool and has potentially Uber cool stories behind them, they weren’t exactly offered to the public making them more unobtainium then holy grail. I guess I mean factory or factory authorized (or unauthorized) parts so we will start there.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) with the spoiler. For me it was finding bracket for the CDI on the six.
Searched for 3yrs before Bruce Stone hooked me up for one. I wanted original not a repro.

Which version? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)

For me, it was a really nice 70-72 chrome front bumper (thanks, Oscar!). Now, it would be a good pair of 15x7R wheels.

truly most elusive - but given that the brits are repro-ing MG shells, they may not be far off ????? (AA via China perhaps with $10K deposit upfront?)

Glad I bought the NOS carpet for our 73 from you many years ago (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif). It looks amazing in the car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)!

Thanks!

The day is coming very soon when a solid, rust free, body in white will seem like a bargain at $25K.

I was pretty happy when I found these at Hershey a 2 years ago..
When I bought therm, they were a mess. I paid 350.00 for them
and then sent them to PMB to make them new again..
