Nolan, my son, who many in the SF Bay Area have met over the years at meets and breakfasts, has officially got to drive a 914. He got his license back in late April but this was the first opportunity to drive legally on the roads and backroads. His first comment was wow, no power steering.... Some progression with the love of Porsche and his passion for cars.

That's some serious seat time before he got to drive a 914 for himself. Cheers to both of you.!

You have done a fantastic job of exposing your son to the world of cars. Way better than I did. Nicely done!
Congrats to Nolan, looks like the drive is justly deserved.

Nice car too! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

That is great! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

Most young people never get to drive a classic sports car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Looks like you all have been to some fantastic events.

Very cool you guys! Love the no power steering comment.

Nolan, my kid is 27 and drives only manual trans cars. It's a skill most younger folks don't have. Good on you!

Another son being brought up right - not including my son who's dad hasn't had a running car with a manual trans for a long time.

You are truly a cool Dad + the 2 of you are a great team. I'm sure that we have seen both of you at one (or 2 ) of the Rennsport meets (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The bumblebee is mom’s car. He has yet to drive dads -6 as it can be a beast to drive. It has a MFI 2.4S engine and will bog at low rpms and then scare you once it winds up. He get to drive that soon.
