Help! I can't find a source for the o-ring shown on the right side of the photo
(just to the left of the drive gear) for the speedometer drive out of my 901 tranny. I really don't want to buy an entire tranny gasket set just for this o-ring. Measured the groove to be: 3.13mm wide X 25.6mm diameter. so I tried a 3 X 25.....TOO BIG....won't fit into bore. then I tried 2.5 X 22.....TOO SMALL....doesn't make a good tight seal?? It must be a 2.5 X 24 ... but I can't source one?????(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) Attached image(s) |

Nope, guess I should try Stoddard. I'll call them in the morning.

Alright, first I'll try Lowe's 'cause it's on the way to work.
If I can't find one there I'll try Home Depot. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) |
