This was my first 914. I drove this car to Ft. Worth in 2001 to MUSR.

It's not really a 2.0 BTW. It's a 1911 on a 1.8 case with dual Webers. Ate a cam lobe. Runs on 3 cylinders.

Remember that "30 hour labor of love" polished Fuch?

This is it. I'm going to clean it up again and hang it on the garage wall for posterity, never to be sold again.

Gint,
I see you're putting your David Lee tow bar bracket to good use. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

what are your plans for your new/old car? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

is it a '74?

Does the white stuff on the trunk help keep engine temps down? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

So whats the plan?

Where ya gonna put it?

Maybe you could put a couple drive-on lifts in your driveway, then the cars on the bottom row wouldn't get much snow on them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Don't really know. I'll probably strip all of the good parts from it for the Zambeziteen and then put stocker euipment back on it, a used longblock to get it running again and sell it. But that's still up in the air. Seeing it on the side of my house again kinda makes me feel nostalgic.

As long as the car isn't running, without a doubt. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Doesn't matter. It's been sitting outside for a good year or so now. I do like the yellow color that the factory paint faded to.

Slits - Yer a sadist! This car has a rust spot or two, but it's definitely too decent for a sawzall party.

Oo..oo..oo...Me, right here (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wavey.gif)
I'd trade you a great running bug for it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) or cash, but it would take me a little time to gather the dineros.
I'm iching to get back into a 914, and I'd treat it very well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

That 1.8 case was in my car when it left germany! Small world...

That paint REALLY has faded since I saw it for the first time - over 2 years ago.

Build it for Sharon! She needs her own teener! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)
