Apologies - this posting is a few days late... my schedule has been pretty full.

Full contest guidelines can be found if you CLICK HERE.

First 5 cars nominated & seconded are in the running for November/December. Nominations must have a picture hosted here on 914world - no linking to off-site images. A nomination must have a "second" to be locked in.

Best of luck! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I second McMark's
I've never seen it (in person), but love the beater that run's idea

a friend of mine has a metalic silver blue 1.7 that still has a mud wasp house on the front hood.... (he pulled it from a barn)

it's awesome and driven as is!

I have only seen Kargeek's car once in person. It was beautiful. I don't know all the details but perhaps someone can help out?

I'll second that. I love Kargeek's car! The whole car looks so clean abd louvered rockers are a nice subtle touch.

I would like to nominate Kevin Barnes' aka okieflyr, yellow is faster 914. This car is an east coast car that Kevin has worked an incredible amount of unique engineering to make a great example of a 914. The powerplant is a 1.8 turbocharged VW mated to boxster transmission with a cable shift. Kevin performed all the work on the car and uses the car for autocross. It has attended many of the NOVA/DC/MD area 914 events and recently pulled a trailer to the ECC in Charlottesville.
