The point of this thread is to hear all voices.
Most of you have your favorite marques. I used to, until I experimented. So, what do you/your loving other drive to work? I appreciate those who drive 914's every day, but most of can't, for various reasons. What I'd be curious to know, besides what you drive daily, is - did you but it or lease it? Would you buy one? (since leasing seems to be becoming a lost item). Why do you drive what you drive? Would you buy one again? Do you like it? Hate it? Just curious. Pat |

My driver is a 91 Ford F-150, I love trucks.
Also in the garage is a 96 Harley dresser which has taken my wife and I on some great adventures. Actually thats what first got us out here to Arizona. I am an old Hot Rodder and some habits are hard to shake so I am in the middle of a 65 Ford F100 build , like I said I love trucks, its pretty much slammed and probably going to run a Bow Tie engine mostly because I have a nice injected setup sitting onthe garage floor. THe 914 is just something I bought because it popped up at a good time and I had the bread. Little did I know I would get such a kick out of driving it. I am about 4 years from retirement so I thought when I retire i will completely go through it and enjoy driving it. Its a great learning experience as i have never played with an air cooled car but so far its been interesting. |
