I'm noticing that 914 owners also seem to own or have owned BMW's too. I'm wondering if this is an indicator of future 914 or BMW owners. Or it could just indicate that we just have a higher automotive pain threshold.

I've owns hundreds of cars. 914's for 15 yrs.
currently: The Alien, (1972 914 W/ 300+ hp 1980 euro spec "S" conversion) 1995 BMW M3 (scary fast builder almost done) 1975 BMW 2002 (E10 euro hot rod project) 1957 VW oval (soon to be a type IV conversion W/glas front clip) 1959 MGA (Wifes summer cruiser Cali car W/1967 1800 5 main MGB engine) 1954 Austin Healey 100-4 roadster (say it "Hundred-4") project car 1984 BMW 533I (needs a head gasket) 2000 Nissan Exterra (Wifes daily driver) 2003 Mercury Sable (company car for work "The Slinky") 1991 Jeep Wrangler (sons winter ride) Just sold my frankenstien 1977 BMW 530I (fresh motor, 5sp conversion, free flow exhaust, L-Jet conversion, euro style head rear rests, fresh suspension, lowered, directional Falkens, etc, bla, bla, bla,,,,, ya I got the sickness....) For what I had in that thing I pretty much gave it away. But it just sat in the driveway. Attached image(s)
