How can I determine some of the leading facilities or physicians in the country that deal with lung cancer patients. I have a relative in the family that was recently diagnosed and they wanted my help finding one of the better facilities.
This relative is located in the Northeast (Connecticut area). Sorry for the off-topic post, but collectively our knowledge outside the 914 world is very diverse. Regards, Karl |

I lost my mom to lung cancer this past December on New Years Eve, she was 57. She lived in Connecticut, and when she was first diagnosed in September of last year, Sloan Kettering and The Farber institute were a couple places we briefly looked into. While her cancer was very aggressive and had spread a lot by the time she was diagnosed, and she would have been a good candidate for some expirimental treatment, she elected to go the chemo and radiation route.
Anyway, those two places have been highly recommended. Good luck to your relative, Carl, I hope some treatment helps. |
