Are these better than 911 M calipers?

Those are 1980's BMW 320i front calipers. painted yellow.
http://www.napaonline.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...ng=&org_string=
Front caliper = $46 x 2 = $92
Rebuild set - $15 x 3 + $30
Solid break lines $2.00 x 2 = $4.00
Machining of caliper if needed =$20.00
Total = $126- 146.
Oh yeah, yellow caliper paint + $10
Most find replacement of proportioning valve with a "T" yeilds a good balance. Otherwise, adjusting a bias is OK.
Other options are the Volvo caliper with larger surface area and 4 pistons. I have seen mixed information regarding need for machining to fit.
Or go with 911 front strut/rotor/caliper.
Either way, $250 for $150 and no more labor than putting in pads and kit with some paint seems high.
